A note on negations and nilpotent t-norms

چکیده
In this paper, we explore general relationships among negations, convex Archimedean nilpotent t-norms, and automorphisms of the unit interval I. Each nilpotent t-norm has a (strong) negation naturally associated with it, namely, 4 (x) = W fy 2 [0; 1] : x4 y = 0g. The same negation is determined by the formula 4 (x) = f 1 (f (0) =f (x)) where f is a (multiplicative) generating function for the t-norm 4. A system (I;4;5; ) is called de Morgan if x 5 y = (x 4 y ) ; Stone if x 4 y = 0 if and only if y x , and x 5 x = 1; and Boolean if it is both de Morgan and Stone. A system is shown to be Boolean if and only if = 4 and x5 y = 4( 4(x)4 4(y)). We also look at de Morgan, weak Boolean and Stone systems on the lattice I[2] = f(x; y) 2 I I : x yg and compare properties of related systems on I and on I[2].

Linear optimization on the intersection of two fuzzy relational inequalities defined with Yager family of t-norms
In this paper, optimization of a linear objective function with fuzzy relational inequality constraints is investigated where the feasible region is formed as the intersection of two inequality fuzzy systems and Yager family of t-norms is considered as fuzzy composition. Yager family of t-norms is a parametric family of continuous nilpotent t-norms which is also one of the most frequently appli...
متن کاملNegations and aggregation operators based on a new hesitant fuzzy partial ordering
Based on a new hesitant fuzzy partial ordering proposed by Garmendia et al.~cite{GaCa:Pohfs}, in this paper a fuzzy disjunction ${D}$ on the set ${H}$ of finite and nonempty subsets of the unit interval and a t-conorm ${S}$ on the set $bar{{B}}$ of equivalence class on the set of finite bags of unit interval based on this partial ordering are introduced respectively. Then, hesitant fuzzy negati...
متن کاملOn the distributive equation for t-representable t-norms generated from nilpotent and strict t-norms
Recently, in [4], we have discussed the following distributive equation of implications I(x, T1(y, z)) = T2(I(x, y), I(x, z)) over t-representable t-norms, generated from strict t-norms, in interval-valued fuzzy sets theory. In this work we continue these investigations, but with the assumption that T1 is generated from nilpotent t-norms, while T2 is generated from strict t-norms. As a byproduc...
متن کاملApplying a Method to Extend Lattice-valued Fuzzy Negations Generated from T-conorms Using Retractions
It is proposed in [Extension of Fuzzy Logic Operators Defined on Bounded Lattices via Retractions, Computer & Mathematics with Applications, 63: 1026–1038, 2012] a method for extending t-norms, t-conorms and fuzzy negations from a sublattice M of bounded lattice L considering a relaxed notion of sublattices. In this work we apply this method to extend a class of fuzzy negations constructed from...
متن کاملNon-commutative fuzzy structures and pairs of weak negations
Weak pseudo BL-algebras (WPBL-algebras) are non-commutative fuzzy structures which arise from pseudot-norms (i.e. the non-commutative versions of triangular norms). In this paper, we study the pairs of weak negations on WPBL-algebras, extending the case of weak negations on Esteva–Godo MTL-algebras. A geometrical characterization of the pairs of weak negations in bounded chains is provided. Our...
